MusicTun Author Terms

Eligibility
To become an author on MusicTun, you must have a registered account and be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.

Content Submission

Authors may submit digital music assets, including songs, loops, stems, sheet music, or other audio products.

All submissions must be original, owned by the author, or properly licensed for commercial distribution.

License to MusicTun

By uploading content, authors grant MusicTun a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and sell the content on the platform.

Authors retain full copyright and ownership of their content.

Content Standards

MusicTun reserves the right to reject content that is illegal, offensive, or violates intellectual property rights.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

Pricing & Payments

Authors set the price for their content (if applicable) within MusicTun guidelines.

MusicTun collects payments from buyers and pays authors their share according to the platform’s commission structure.

Payments are made via the method selected by the author and in accordance with MusicTun’s payout schedule.

Taxes & Legal Compliance

Authors are responsible for complying with tax and legal obligations in their jurisdiction.

MusicTun may provide statements for reporting purposes, but authors are solely responsible for their own tax filings.

Content Removal

Authors may request removal of their content, subject to existing purchase licenses.

MusicTun reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or legal requirements.

KYC Verification and Withdrawals

To ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain a secure platform, all authors on MusicTun are required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before any earnings can be withdrawn.

KYC verification is mandatory for:

• Receiving payouts or transferring funds from your MusicTun account.
• Verifying your identity as the rightful owner of the payment account.
• Preventing fraudulent activity, money laundering, and unauthorized transactions.

Authors must provide valid identification documents and any additional information requested during the KYC process. All data is processed in accordance with MusicTun’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Failure to complete KYC verification will result in:

• Inability to withdraw earnings.
• Temporary suspension of payout privileges until verification is successfully completed.
• MusicTun reserves the right to review, request updates, or suspend accounts that do not meet verification requirements.

Prohibited Content and Resale Restrictions

Authors are strictly prohibited from uploading, selling, or distributing any PLR (Private Label Rights), resale, or third-party content on MusicTun.

All items submitted to the marketplace must be:

Original works created by the author or collaborators with documented permission.

Fully owned and controlled by the submitting author, with all necessary rights for commercial distribution and licensing.

The following are not permitted on MusicTun:

• PLR or MRR (Master Resale Rights) products.
• Content purchased or downloaded from other marketplaces for resale.
• Copyrighted materials, samples, or loops not cleared for commercial use.
• AI-generated works that infringe on existing copyrighted content.

Any violation of this policy may result in:

• Immediate removal of the infringing items.
• Suspension or permanent termination of the author’s account.
• Forfeiture of earnings related to unauthorized products.
• Legal action for copyright infringement where applicable.

MusicTun maintains the right to review, remove, or restrict any item that does not meet originality or copyright compliance standards.

Indemnification

Authors agree to indemnify MusicTun against any claims arising from the content they submit, including copyright infringement or violation of applicable laws.

Modifications

MusicTun may update the Author Terms at any time. Authors will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
