MusicTun Licenses Terms

All digital music assets offered on MusicTun are licensed, not sold.
When you purchase music from our platform, you’re granted the rights to use that track according to the license type you select at checkout. Ownership of the original work remains with the author or composer.

License Types

1. Private License (Personal Use Only)

This license is for non-commercial and personal projects.
You may use the track for private videos, practice, educational purposes, personal playlists, or non-monetized creative work.

• Cannot be used in monetized or business-related projects
• Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing is strictly prohibited
• Modification allowed for personal creative use only

2. Non-Exclusive Commercial License

This license grants lifetime commercial usage rights for professional and monetized projects. You pay once and can use the track forever, with no renewal fees or ongoing royalties.

You may use the music in:

• Radio broadcasting (station IDs, jingles, talk shows, and promos)
• Television and film productions (themes, intros, trailers, or episodes)
• Online videos and streaming content (Vimeo, Twitch, etc.)
• Podcasts, courses, and advertisements (audio or video ads, intros, sponsorships)
• Apps, games, and company presentations (background tracks or soundscapes)

• One-time payment: No annual renewals or royalty obligations
• Global clearance: Use across all countries and media platforms
• Perpetual rights: Keep using the track indefinitely once licensed

Music (Songs & Instrumental Music) License

All songs and instrumental music sold on MusicTun are licensed for use according to the selected license type (Private or Non-Exclusive Commercial).

Usage Restrictions:

Music tracks cannot be used on YouTube or any platform that employs automated content identification systems (e.g., Content ID) to claim ownership or monetize videos.

Music can be used in radio, TV, films, podcasts, courses, apps, and other commercial or personal projects as permitted by the license type.

Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or standalone usage outside of integrated projects is prohibited.

Rationale:
YouTube’s Content ID system may flag copyrighted music even if it is licensed for commercial use elsewhere. To protect both buyers and creators, these tracks are restricted from upload to YouTube, but remain fully usable in all other commercial, broadcast, and personal contexts.

Restrictions

You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense any asset purchased on MusicTun.

Music may not be uploaded to content identification systems (such as YouTube Content ID) to claim ownership.

You may not use the music as part of a product for resale (e.g., reselling as a music pack, sample collection, or NFT).

Modification of the track is permitted only when used as part of a larger project, not as a standalone redistribution.

Non-Audio Digital Products

This category includes all digital assets other than sound recordings, such as visuals, templates, or written materials.

These items are licensed under the same rules as above:

• Private License: For personal study, design exploration, or internal use only
• Commercial License: For professional, published, or monetized use in visual, print, or digital media

Permitted Commercial Uses Include:

• Incorporating graphics, templates, or written material into paid courses, advertisements, or client work
• Using digital content in branding, marketing, or design for businesses
• Adapting and integrating files within commercial media projects

Restrictions:

• No resale or redistribution of standalone files
• No sublicensing or claiming ownership of the original work
• No inclusion in resellable products or NFT collections

Ownership

All assets remain the intellectual property of their original creators.
Purchasing a license gives you the right to use the work, but not to own or claim copyright over it.

Refunds & Cancellations

Because all assets are digital, licenses are non-refundable once the file has been downloaded or accessed.
If an item is broken, corrupted, or not as described, buyers may contact the author for assistance or request a refund review through MusicTun support.

Liability

MusicTun and its authors are not responsible for any misuse or unauthorized distribution of licensed assets. Buyers are fully responsible for ensuring proper use within the scope of their purchased license.

License Updates

MusicTun may update or revise its license terms at any time.
However, the license terms active at the time of your purchase will always apply to that specific transaction.
